Dean Webster’s research involves the development of novel, high-performance, environmentally friendly polymer technology for coatings and composites. He carries out research in the field of non-toxic fouling-release ship hull coatings and non-isocyanate polyurethane systems for applications such as aircraft primers. He has done extensive work in the area of using agriculture-derived chemicals to develop thermosetting polymer systems that have good performance in applications such as coatings and composites.
